Kate Farrell

I'm a professional freelance writer, creative intern at Studio Sophomore, and actor. You can see some of my writing in Narcity Media, Kingston Accommodation Partners, MUSE Magazine, and Sahara & Co.

I graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelor’s degree in history; at Queen’s I was also the co-creative director at QFIN, the Equity Affairs manager for the Social Issues Commission, a Model & model Choreographer for the Vogue Charity Fashion Show, a writer for MUSE Magazine, and writer and performer in the sketch comedy show Queen’s Players.

As a mental health advocate; I’ve spoken in front of hundreds of people about my own journey in hopes to reduce to stigma around mental illness.

I’m extremely interested in graphic design, writing, videography, photography - and bad dancing. Contact me if you’re interested in collaborating!
